This song was born when I asked John to write a song for me to sing (cause I wanna sing!) It has more of a rock than metal vibe. The lyrics were his idea and I only wrote the second verse and a few other bits. I may have added more than a grain of salt to the final product, particularly to the vocal arrangements, cause I can’t help myself. I love the laid-back guitar solo in the end, and how we let it play with the vocals almost of its own volition.
